The pervious version, 1.5, is much better.

Finally, a window manager that can do a key combo + drag to move/resize. Nearly all window managers up until now (except BetterTouchTool) do only resize-by-key combos. I really miss Zooom 2 (now defunct) and this one has the potential to be a full replacement. The only thing that I would like to see implemented is an ability to resize from all four corners with a key combo + drag. I'm going to purchase a license just to support this developer.
As for Spectacle being free, I hate it when people make such a rash judgment and complain about paying for $10. I've made that mistake myself. Remember, behind every Mac app, there are developers (= humans) investing a tremendous amount of effort to make our platform better. $10 is really a bargain when I consider the amount of workflow friction it can remove.

Disappointed ...
Can't seem to run the trial version Despite the application telling me I have 7 days remaining in my trial, I'm not able to by-pass the "Buy Now" screen or activate any of the menubar snap options.
I very much like the idea of snapping windows to one side in 1/3 window increments. Exactly what I've been wanting. Be great to be able to try it out!
